Cleo is the kind of dog who leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets. Friendly, outgoing, and incredibly eager to please, she has a natural ability to get along with dogs of all types and sizes. Her calm presence is balanced by a curious spirit—she loves to explore, learn, and be part of every adventure.

Cleo is remarkably well-mannered, with a solid off-switch, excellent recall, and impeccable behavior around guests. She rarely barks—unless there's a fox nearby!—and her sweet temperament shines through in every interaction, whether she's cuddling a toddler or meeting someone new.

Highly motivated by food, toys, and praise, Cleo picks up new skills quickly and retains them well over time. She’s resilient, bounces back easily from surprises, and has a steady, joyful energy that makes her a delight to work with. One of her most endearing traits? Her signature “Border Hugs”—a loving embrace that’s won the hearts of many.

Competing with my dog is about far more than titles—it's an essential part of evaluating her potential and understanding the qualities she brings to our breeding program and her future offspring. Through competition, I gain meaningful insight into her temperament, trainability, drive, and composure in varied environments.

Beyond assessment, the experience is incredibly rewarding. It deepens the bond between us and offers invaluable opportunities for structured training, socialization, and personal growth—as both handler and teammate. These shared moments build trust, resilience, and mutual understanding that extend far beyond the ring.
